On first use, the tool downloads FFmpeg.wasm (~31MB), a video processing library. This is cached in your browser, so subsequent conversions are much faster.
How can I make smaller GIF files?
Use lower width (240-320px), fewer colors (Low quality preset), lower FPS (5-10), and shorter duration (1-3 seconds). These settings significantly reduce file size.
What is the maximum video size supported?
We support videos up to 100MB for GIF conversion. Larger videos may cause memory issues in the browser.
